A mulit-vehicle crash in Horry County resulted in injuries.
The accident occurred along Homestown Road near Scipio Lane shortly after 1pm Sunday.
It involved four vehicles and extrication operations were necessary to remove those who were trapped. Two people were transported to a hospital with injuries.
Traffic was advised to avoid the area and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is now investigating the accident.
