Four More Arrested In Connection To Louvre Heist

Two men and two women taken into custody are from the Paris region and range in age from 31 to 40. 

Four suspects have been arrested in connection to the significant Louvre heist.

The theft occurred on October 19 in which the burglars made off with $102 million worth of jewels in under 8 minutes during daylight.

They used a freight lift to reach the museum’s window, climbed through, and used disc cutters to break into the display cases. Two broke in while two get away drivers were waiting on scooters.

Two men and two women taken into custody are from the Paris region and range in age from 31 to 40.  Some of them are already known to police services due to connections. The DNA found on the scene or items linked to the robbery led to their arrests.
