New Report Says 72% of Americans Struggle with Sleep
Health experts say daytime sleepiness could trigger medical issues.
Is day-time tiredness a daily trial for you? You’re not alone.
According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, 72-percent of people say sleepiness affects them or has affected them in their everyday activities. 60-percent say being tired has hurt their mood…and about half say it affected their stress or anxiety levels. Ages 25 to 44 were the most likely to say that tiredness has affected their relationships.
Health experts say daytime sleepiness could trigger medical issues, sleep disorders and mental health conditions. Signs to look for are trouble staying awake during normal activities, difficulty with memory or concentration and problems falling or staying asleep.
