Two-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus Results In Injuries

A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus occurred in Horry County Monday.

The crash involved a Carolina Forest High School bus and a passenger vehicle in the area of Towne Centre Parkway and Market Place Drive.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched shortly after 4pm. The passenger vehicle overturned, which called for extrication operations.

There were 44 students on the bus, with two taken to the hospital. The other students were either released to their parents or were transferred to another school bus and transported home.

The crash is under investigation.
