Man Arrested After ShotSpotter Alert In Myrtle Beach

Authorities were searching the area of the 1300 block of Dunbar Street.

An arrest was made after a shot-spotter alert was sent to police.

Just after 5am Sunday, authorities were searching the area of the 1300 block of Dunbar Street.

It was discovered that one person had been self-transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They have since been treated and released.

31-year-old Tevin Hinds was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by an unlawful alien and discharging a firearm within city limits. An investigation remains underway.
