Motel Clerk Stabbed In Florence County

The incident happened at the Baymont Inn and Suites on West Lucas Street.

Police are searching for a suspect after a stabbing in Florence County.

Around 11:15am Thursday, an argument broke out between a motel clerk and a female guest. The incident happened at the Baymont Inn and Suites on West Lucas Street.

At some point the woman stabbed the clerk, who was then taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay.

At this time, the woman suspected in the stabbing has not been arrested. Police confirmed her identity but did not publicly reveal her name.
