Two Arrested In Connection To Conway Shooting

Two people have been arrested in connection to a shooting that took place at a Conway apartment complex.
The incident unfolded around 4pm last Friday at the Crane Creek Apartments along Grainger Road. 25-year-old Malcolm Thwaites reportedly fired a firearm five times, hitting a victim three times. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
32-year-old Shaquanna Thwaites also presented a handgun during the shooting and pulled the slide back, chambering a round, before pointing the gun at the victim. Malcolm is facing attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Shaquanna is being charged with pointing and presenting. Both are being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
