Democrats Release Epstein Emails Mentioning Trump
The president has denied being close with the disgraced financier.
Emails released by Democrats say Jeffrey Epstein mentioned President Trump’s awareness of his actions.
Epstein was convicted in relation to sex trafficking and sexually abusing dozens of underage girls over many years. He died by suicide in a federal jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges.
The three emails show Epstein’s correspondence with associates claiming that Trump “spent hours at my house,” while another says Trump “knew about the girls.”
The emails have sparked further scrutiny of Trump’s relationship with Epstein. The president has denied being close with the disgraced financier.
