Coastal Carolina University has named its new head coach of the men’s soccer team.
Adam Perron joins the Chanticleers after serving as the associate head coach at the University of Virginia. There he played a significant role in player development for the soccer program since 2020.
During his time, he helped develop 10 major league soccer draft picks and an All-American selection. That team also made three NCAA tournament appearances and advanced to the Sweet 16 twice.
Perron is set to lead the Chants who finished this years season with a 3-9-2 record and a 2-6-1 record in the Sun Belt Conference.
