New Directions Issues Cold Blue Amid Cold Temperatures
The shelter will be taking in any single men or women who need a place to escape the cold.
A shelter in Myrtle Beach has expanded its operations amid the cold temperatures.
New Directions has issued a code blue. The shelter will be taking in any single men or women who need to escape the cold.
Code Blues are for people living on the streets, allowing them to stay until the sun rises and the temperatures start to warm. If temperatures stay in the 30s during the day, then New Directions will extend its shelter hours.
The code blue will last through Tuesday night.
