International Drive To Close Due To Controlled Burn
The closure is set to go into effect after 8am on Nov. 10 and is set to wrap up on Nov. 14.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the South Carolina Forestry Commission will be conducting a controlled burn leading to a road closure.
The burn will unfold in the area of International Drive which will temporarily be closed to all traffic from Highway 90 to Ocean Bay Elementary School.
The closure is set to go into effect after 8am on Nov. 10. While the burn will wrap up on Nov. 14, the road will only reopen when conditions allow.
Access to the Horry County Solid Waste Recycling Facility will remain open but only from Highway 90. Alternate routes include Highway 501 and Highway 22.
