NMB Aquatic And Fitness Center Expansion Project
The expansion comes due to the growth in the community, with over 5,200 current memberships.
The city of North Myrtle Beach announced an expansion project for the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
The project will involve a 31,000 square-foot expansion and renovation to the existing facility. It will include a 4,000 square-foot addition with a dedicated stretch area, an additional aerobics room, boys and girls locker rooms, as well as the expansion of the current locker rooms.
There will also be a new gymnasium, dedicated spaces for youth programs and outdoor fitness, and additional parking.
The center offers 100 fitness classes per week, personal training, swim lessons and youth programs.
