Authorities have released the report regarding a recent barricade situation in Myrtle Beach.

The incident unfolded around 10am on Oct. 24 along Highway 15 when police responded to a disturbance call. 36-year-old Eric Bostic is accused of pulling a knife on two victims while calling them witches and urging them to leave, despite one of them being a resident.

When Bostic raised the knife he was holding, the victims ran out of the home and called 911. Upon arrival, police heard gunshots coming from inside the home and a perimeter was created.

Shortly after 1pm, Bostic was in custody and the home was secured. He was charged with seven counts of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was denied bond for all charges, except one in which he was handed a $5,000 bond for possession.
