Three People Charged In Connection To Drug-Induced Homicide

The victim, whose name was not released, reportedly collapsed shortly after ingesting the narcotic.

Three people are now facing charges following a homicide in the McColl area of Marlboro County.

An investigation was conducted that involved evidence collection and multiple interviews. It was determined that Taylor Guinn “knowingly and unlawfully provided the victim with a fentanyl or fentanyl like substance, resulting in the woman’s death.

The victim, whose name was not released, reportedly collapsed shortly after ingesting the narcotic. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

In addition, Tony Ward and Casie Cummings were also arrested. They were charged with accessory after the fact in connection to the incident. All three individuals are being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center, awaiting bond hearings.
