Mindful Journey Academy To Host Unique Trunk-Or-Treat

An outdoor school in Horry County is set to host a unique trunk-or-treat event this weekend.

Mindful Journey Academy is hosting their Fall Festival Fundraiser with a twist. Instead of collecting candy from the trunks of vehicles, attendees will gather treats from tree trunks.

The idea aligns with the school’s nature-based learning approach. Families and local businesses are invited to decorate a tree trunk and pass out treats or set up games.

There will be live music, farm animals, a bonfire gathering, vendors, and more. There will also be a costume contest.

The event will be held October 18 from 5-7pm at Wondering Farm along Daphane Drive in Conway.
