Israel Frustrated As Hamas Hesitates To Release Deceased Hostages

Israel announced that it will restrict aid to Gaza due to the delayed release of hostage remains.

Just days after Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire deal frustration has sparked.

The first phase of the agreement included the release of hostages as well as the freeing of Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas had until midnight on Monday to release all hostages to Israel. That included the 20 remaining living as well as the 28 deceased.

Though all living hostages were freed, hamas has only returned four of the 28 deceased hostages, one of which was not even a hostage.

Israel announced that it will restrict aid to Gaza due to the delayed release of hostage remains. Hamas is expected to return more bodies.

The set back is sending Israel officials into a frenzy and could impact further negotiations on the other phases of the peace plan.
