Biden Commends Trump Over Recent Gaza Peace Effort

Former President Biden took to social media to share that he is deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come.

Former President Biden praised President Trump’s recent peace effort for Israel’s war in Gaza.

Biden took to social media to share that he is deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come. He was referring to the last living 20 hostages being released and finally reunited with their families and loved ones. Biden also said he’s grateful that civilians in Gaza can finally get the chance to rebuild their lives.

Biden went on to commend Trump and his team for their work to get a renewed ceasefire deal over the finish line. The living hostages were returned Monday as both Israel and Hamas agreed to the first phase of Trump’s peace plan. More than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners were also freed as part of the deal.

Though progress has been made, it remains unclear if both sides will continue to go along with the other phases of the agreement. But currently, the two year war is halted.
