Several people were displaced after a seawall collapsed near a multi-unit residential structure.
Shortly before 1pm Sunday, Horry County Fire Rescue crews were called to the 4000 block of Coquina Harbour Drive in Little River.
The Horry County Government Code Enforcement deemed the residential building unsafe, which required the evacuations of nine units.
Seven residents are currently displaced and the property manager is helping those impacted.
The seawall collapsed due to flooding from consistent rainfall over the weekend.
