The event will be held Tuesday in the Thomas Maeser Auditorium located at the HGTC Conference Center.
The Myrtle Beach branch of the NAACP is inviting the community to meet the mayoral race candidates and those running for the city council.
The ‘Meet the Candidate’ event will be open to the public, providing residents with the opportunity to hear directly from candidates.
Upon arrival, attendees will receive cards on which they can write down questions they want to ask. They can be directed at a certain candidate to answer or all.
The event will be held Tuesday in the Thomas Maeser Auditorium. That is located at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College Conference Center on Crabtree Lane.
It will kick off at 5pm with a mix and mingle. Then, candidates will address the audience at 6pm before wrapping up at 8.
