Several Major Universities Asked To Commit To Trump’s Agenda

The White House is asking several major universities to commit to President Trump’s political agenda.

A 10-page proposal was sent to nine universities that encouraged them to adopt the White House’s vision for America’s campuses, with commitments to accept the government’s priorities on admissions, women’s sports, free speech, student discipline, as well as other topics.

If the colleges agree, they would receive “multiple positive benefits,” including grants and increased overhead payments where feasible.

The letter calls it a proactive effort as the administration continues to investigate alleged civil rights violations across U.S. campuses.

A decision deadline is set for November 21. Some of the recipients included Vanderbilt, Dartmouth, MIT, the University of Texas, and several others.
