Nearly 200k BMW Vehicles Recalled

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the fire risks can occur while parked or being driven.

A recall has been placed on nearly 200,000 BMW vehicles.

The “park outside recall” was placed due to a possible risk of fire due to engine corrosion. It covers model years 2019 to 2022.

Owners are encouraged to park outside and away from buildings as well as a distance from other vehicles until they either confirm their vehicle is not subject to the recall or have their vehicle is inspected and fixed if necessary.
