Multi-County Police Chase Leads To Discovery Of Drugs

One man is facing charges after a police chase led to the discovery of drugs.
The pursuit unfolded in the McColl area of Marlboro County on Tuesday. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the driver, Brolyn Henry, failed to stop.
Police then chased Henry down Pea Bridge Road into Scotland County, before he wrecked his car and fled on foot.
Henry was later located in a wooded area by the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s bloodhound team. Following a brief standoff, he surrendered to law enforcement.
In his vehicle, officials found 10 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $680,000. He was charged with trafficking cocaine and failure to stop for blue lights.
