Man Jailed After Threatening Victim With Machete
Around 10am on Monday, authorities were called to a business in the 900 block of Broadway Street.
Myrtle Beach police arrested a suspect after allegedly threatened people with a weapon.
Around 10am on Monday, authorities were called to a business in the 900 block of Broadway Street.
Upon arrival, they talked to Ladalyon Stackhouse outside the business before talking to victims and witnesses inside.
It was discovered that Stackhouse entered the establishment armed with a machete. He said he needed $25 or the victim’s cell phone and threatened to “chop him up.”
Stackhouse was arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.
