McDonald’s is bringing back their monopoly game after a decade.
Starting Oct. 6, for a limited time, customers across the country can rediscover the “thrill of the peel” with new digital game pieces in addition to the classic ones.
This promotion, based on the classic board game, made its debut with McDonald’s in 1987. In addition to free food, some of the prizes up for grabs include vacations, one-million American Airlines miles and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. One lucky player will also walk away with one-million dollars in cash.
Things are a little different this time around: the game pieces will be scanned into the McDonald’s app for redemption. The monopoly promotion was last done in the U.S. in 2014.
