Crash Involving Golf Cart Results In Death Of One Person

The crash happened around 1am on Saturday along Jordan Road near Dog Bluff Road in Horry County.

A crash involving a golf cart resulted in the death of one person.

The crash happened around 1am on Saturday along Jordan Road near Dog Bluff Road in Horry County.

A golf cart was traveling west when a pick-up truck heading the same way hit it from behind. That caused the golf cart to run off the road before striking a ditch.

The driver of the golf cart who was killed, was identified as 46-year-old Shana Richardson. A passenger of the golf cart was taken to a hospital, but their condition is unknown.

The driver and passenger of the pick-up truck were not injured. SCHP is investigating the crash.
