HCS To Host Job Fair To Address Bus Driver Shortage

With the vacant positions, current drivers are driving multiple routes per day resulting in major delays.

Horry County Schools is set to host a job fair aimed at addressing the shortage of bus drivers.

The job fair will take place Thursday at the HCS Regional Transportation Office along Investors Boulevard from 4-6pm.

You must be at least 18, and all positions require proof of highest education, as well as a ten-year driving record.

HCS currently employs around 350 active drivers, but still has nearly 60 positions open. With the vacant positions, current drivers are driving multiple routes per day resulting in major delays.
