Collaboration Aims To Attract Golf-Centric Businesses To Myrtle Beach
Officials say the partnership will attract new businesses to the area including equipment manufacturers and more.
The “Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation” and “Golf Tourism Solutions” announced they are partnering up.
The new collaboration aims to make Myrtle Beach a “destination of choice for existing, new, and emerging golf-centric businesses that make up the over $1B domestic golf industry, seeking a corporate home.”
Officials say the partnership will attract new businesses to the area including equipment manufacturers, maintenance equipment suppliers, apparel brands, tech companies, media platforms, and service providers.
A recent economic impact study showed that more than three million rounds of golf were played in 2024. The stats generated a $1.6 billion impact on the region while employing over 13,000 people.
