Three People Arrested After 11 Y/O Shot In Robeson Co.
An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Cody Oxendine, 30-year-old Mary Polston, and 40-year-old Luther Oxendine.
Three people have been arrested after an 11-year-old child was shot in Robeson County.
On August 31, deputies were called to a home on Bridals Lane in Maxton on reports of a juvenile with a gunshot wound. The child was airlifted to a medical facility where he is currently still recovering from his injuries.
An investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Cody Oxendine, 30-year-old Mary Polston, and 40-year-old Luther Oxendine.
All three suspects were charged with felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
Separately, Luther Oxendine and Polston are facing other charges including three counts of misdemeanor child abuse and more. Each were giving separate bonds of $300,000 or more.
