Target announced the return of its popular car seat trade-in event.

The program will make its return on September 21 and will run through October 4. During that time, customers will be allowed to drop off an old car seat in the designated boxes located near Guest Services inside stores nationwide.

They can then scan a QR code to receive a discount that will provide them a 20% off Target Circle Bonus toward a new car seat, stroller, or select baby gear. The discount will be available for use between September 21 and October 18.

Target will accept and recycle all types of seats from infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats. Additionally, they will accept car seats that are expired or damaged.
