Over 90k Toyota, Lexus, Subaru Vehicles Recalled
Owners can take their vehicle to a dealership and get the HVAC control software updated.
Over 90,000 vehicles have been recalled due to issues with their heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Toyota’s parent company, which also owns Lexus and a portion of Subaru, identified a problem that affects vehicles with model years 2023-2025.
The company found that the HVAC systems could have electrical compressor failure. The problem could cause the defroster or defogger to be inoperative, increasing the risk of crash.
