Man Identified In Robeson Co. Shooting That Led To Barricade Situation
Police were called to East Robeson Drive in the Lumberton area on reports of a shooting.
The identity of the suspect involved in a Robeson County shooting that prompted an hours-long standoff has been revealed.
Around 11am on Sunday, police were called to East Robeson Drive in the Lumberton area on reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, a 22-year-old woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
46-year-old Adrian Mabe was found inside of his home but refused to come out. Shortly after 4pm, authorities deployed tear gas, causing a small fire that was quickly put out.
At that time, Mabe was detained and booked into the Robeson County Detention Center. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
