9/11 Events And Ceremonies Across The Grand Strand

On 9/11. a Remembrance Ceremony will be held in Myrtle Beach at the Unity Memorial in Warbird Park.

There are several events across the Grand Strand that will be held in honor of 9/11.

A memorial stair climb will be held everyday this week at the Crabtree Memorial Gym in Myrtle Beach. Registration is not required and participants do not have to complete all 110 flights. You can participate anytime from 6am-7pm through Friday and 8:30am-4pm on Saturday.

A stair climb will also be held at the Yachtsman Resort South Tower on N. Ocean Boulevard. That will start at 8:46am on Thursday, also involving 110 stories.

Then on Thursday from 9:45-11:30am, Surfside Beach will host their stair climb on the fishing pier.  Participants will climb the pier stairs 28 times totaling to 110 stories.

Following the stair climbs, a Remembrance Ceremony will be held in Myrtle Beach at the Unity Memorial in Warbird Park starting at 1pm on Thursday.
