Man Accused Of Striking Victim With Pistol During Argument

The incident took place on Saturday in the 1200 block of Ellington Street off of Highway 15.

A shooting in Myrtle Beach led to the arrest of one man. The incident took place on Saturday in the 1200 block of Ellington Street off of Highway 15.

38-year-old Chad Lee McFalls is accused of firing a shot from a .22 caliber revolver that hit the victim in the head resulting in injury. He then proceeded to “pistol whip the victim in the head causing further injury.” The victim was taken to a hospital but their current condition is unknown.

McFalls now faces charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, as well as resisting arrest and trespassing. He is being held on a $171,000 bond.
