2 Dead & 17 Wounded During Minneapolis Mass Shooting
The FBI is investigating the shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics.
The suspect of a deadly mass shooting in Minneapolis has been identified.
On Wednesday morning, 23-year-old Robin Westman fired dozens of rounds through the windows of the Annunciation Catholic Church during Mass.
Inside the building were children sitting in pews during their first week of school. Two children ages 8 and 10 died in result of the shooting that also left fourteen kids and three elderly parishioners wounded.
Westman died as a result of a self-inflicted wound. Investigators are still working to learn more regarding the suspect’s connection to the church and its school to understand a motive. However, it was discovered the shooter, who had no prior criminal history, posted a manifesto online that authorities are reviewing.
