Man Arrested In Connection To Fatal Hit And Run

Bryan Davis is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center without bond.

One man has been charged in connection to a fatal hit and run in Darlington County.

Charles Polson Jr. was riding his bicycle west on the shoulder of East McIver Road when he was struck by a vehicle heading the same way.

The suspected driver fled the scene in which Polson was pronounced deceased.

Bryan Davis has since been arrested and charged with hit-and-run involving a death and second-offense driving with a suspended license. He is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center without bond.
