Fatal Shooting Suspect Remains Behind Bars

The suspect of a fatal Conway shooting remains behind bars after killing a bar and grill employee.
The shooting happened just before 10pm last Friday at the Rascals restaurant located along 16th Avenue. 41-year-old Lester Goldsmith died as a result of the shooting.
26-year-old Irving Centeno was arrested Sunday and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He appeared before a judge in conway municipal court Tuesday but municipal judges in S.C. cannot set bond in murder cases. He remains in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Centeno is one of three men facing charges in connection to the shooting. Herman Herrera and Marcos Gutierrez-Vazquez are accused of disorderly conduct and were given bonds of over $1,000 each.
