Amazon is Making it Easier to Order Groceries
Amazon plans to expand the service to 23-hundred cities by the end of the year.
Amazon hopes its new roll-out will streamline your online grocery shopping experience to get same-day delivery of fresh food to your door.
The retail giant is targeting more than one-thousand cities in the effort. Perishable food items — including dairy, meat and seafood — can be checked-out in the same online cart alongside other items.
Amazon said this new service will complement its existing grocery delivery offerings. In most cities, same-day delivery will be free for Prime members on orders over 25-dollars — or a fee of 2.99 if the order doesn’t meet that minimum. Customers without a Prime subscription can use the service for a fee of $12.99. Amazon plans to expand the service to 23-hundred cities by the end of the year.
