Americans Would Rather Repair and Replace Over Buying New
When something breaks, sometimes it’s just easier to get a new one. However, new research shows that more than half of Americans are choosing to repair and fix household items instead of replacing them.
With unpredictable and rising prices, many are turning to DIY projects to make their belongings last longer and feel more in control of their finances. The study found that 61% say it’s to save money, while 33% admit they can’t afford to replace the items. Most turn to Youtube as their go-to repair guide, relying on how-to videos to learn how to properly fix and maintain what they own.
