Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held For New Health Facility
Several leaders attended the ceremony to offer their support, including S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday to officially open the Jean and Hugh K Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion.
The medical facility is named after former S.C. state senator, the late Hugh Leatherman and his wife, Jean.
The $100 million amenity has 63-beds and will offer a wide range of mental health services, from crisis stabilization and triage to telehealth, outpatient and inpatient care.
The facility is located at 121 E. Cedar Street in Florence. Services for patients are expected to begin by the end of this month.
