Paramount Secures Exclusive Rights To Stream UFC Events
The new deal means mixed martial arts events will no longer be available on ESPN
Paramount Skydance announced a seven-year media rights agreement with TKO Group.
The agreement will make Paramount+ the exclusive home of all UFC events. The events will be available at no additional cost to Paramount+ U.S. subscribers only.
That means mixed martial arts events will no longer be available on ESPN ending a deal that was reached in 2019. That deal involved streaming the matchups on TV and pay-per-view in ESPN+.
Paramount’s seven-year term will kick off next year, and has an average annual value of $1.1 billion. That overall totals to $7.7 billion.
