Socastee Swing Bridge To Close For ‘Outer Banks’ Filming Again
Season 5 of 'Outer Banks' is expected to be released sometime next year and is expected to be the last.
The Socastee Swing Bridge is set to close once again as a popular Netflix show returns for additional filming.
The crew for ‘Outer Banks’ began filming a stunt scene at the bridge on July 29. However, their work was cut short due to weather conditions.
Now on August 14, filming will resume causing the bridge to close from 9am-9pm.
S.C. Film Commissioner Matt Storm said they want to wrap up filming in the area before HCS return on August 18 to avoid impacting school bus routes.
Season 5 is expected to be released through the streamer sometime next year and is expected to be the last.
