Kia Issues Two Recalls Within The Same Week
Kia owners can take their vehicle to a dealership for a free inspection and replacement of the affected parts.
Kia has issued two recalls within the same week.
The recall covers over 200,000 2023-2025 Telluride models that may experience loosening and eventual detachment of their door belt molding trims, which is the narrow strip located along the top edge of the door where the glass meets the metal frame.
Over 100,000 2023-2025 K5 models have a similar issue with their C-pillar garnish face plates, which are decorative panels located near the left and right rear windows. The pieces may loosen and fall off due to a supplier quality issue.
The problems could pose a hazard for other drivers and cause crashes. Kia owners can take their vehicle to a dealership for a free inspection and replacement of the affected parts.
