Nearly 200,000 toy kitchen sets have been recalled after the death of a toddler.

Backyard Kids, LLC, recalled 192,000 KidKraft Farm to Table Model Play Kitchens.

It was placed after a toddler was strangled to death while playing with the product in february of last year.

The company explained the products pose a “risk of serious injury or death to young children who are climbing on the counter or crawling through the opening at the back of the play kitchens.”

Consumers are urged to contact Backyard Kids which will provide free replacement hooks for all units.
