Despite her denial, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene did not completely shut down the idea of running in the future.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has shut down a rumor that has prompted speculation for months.

It has been assumed that Greene would be running for Georgia governor next year. She took to social media to debunk the constant rumors about her political ambitions.

In reference to the rumors regarding her intentions to launch a campaign to succeed term-limited Gov. Brian Kemp, she denied.

“If I were running for governor, I would have a platform and a detailed plan, much different than the others, that would save our sweet home state of Georgia, our precious hardworking businesses, and give our much loved children a bright future. That would be for every Georgian, not just Republicans.”

Despite her denial, she did not completely shut down the idea of running in the future.
