Domestic Dispute Leads To Death Of One Person

Police were called to the 100 block of Lambshire Drive and Cedar Grove Road

A domestic dispute in Robeson County resulted in the death of one person.

Around 4pm Tuesday, police were called to the 100 block of Lambshire Drive and Cedar Grove Road outside Lumberton.

Upon arrival, 38-year-old Edel Yost was found deceased at the scene.

The incident was an apparent shooting that is being investigated.

No arrests have been announced at this time and further details remain limited as authorities work to learn more.
