Trump Taps Sean Duffy As Interim NASA Administrator

President Trump has named a new interim NASA administrator.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has been tapped to take on the role. The move comes after Trump took back his initial nominee for the position.

The president abruptly withdrew his nomination of Jared Isaacman last month, days before the Senate was expected to confirm his position.

It’s due to his “past associations,” an apparent nod to his previous donations to Democrats.

President Trump said that Duffy has been doing a great job in handling U.S. Transportation Affairs, making them efficient again.

Trump added that Duffy will be a fantastic leader of the space agency, even if it’s only for a short period of time.
