Man Arrested After “Purposely” Running Over Victim With Truck

Police were called to 2010 S. Ocean Boulevard on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.

One man was arrested after allegedly running over a victim with a vehicle on purpose in Myrtle Beach.

Shortly before 1am Tuesday, police were called to 2010 S. Ocean Boulevard on reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.

An investigation revealed that the incident took place at 1705 S. Kings Highway, where a man intentionally ran over the victim.

43-year-old Michael Poole then fled the scene back to his residence in Ocean Lakes Campground.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
