Tropical Storm Chantal was reduced to a tropical depression after making landfall over the weekend, but still left behind devastation.

The storm brought heavy flooding across several counties in central North Carolina.

Several people have been confirmed dead due to flood waters.

The storm claim the lives of 85-year-old Sandra Hirschman, 58-year-old Monica Butner, 23-year-old Hajar Hassib, and two unnamed men.
