Wave That Flag Festival Postponed Until Labor Day Weekend

Wave That Flag is hosted by the Georgetown County Parks and Rec Department and coordinated by VibeTime.

The ‘Wave That Flag Festival’ was rescheduled after tropical depression Chantal hit the Grand Strand.

The laser-light show aimed to wrap up the festive 4th of July weekend and was going to take place at Retreat Park in the Litchfield community of Pawleys Island Sunday.

Wave That Flag is hosted by the Georgetown County Parks and Rec Department and coordinated by VibeTime.

Organizers said it must be held in dry conditions to properly run the laser light show.

The event will now be postponed until Labor Day weekend in September.
