North Myrtle Beach Traffic During 4th Of July Fireworks Show

A small portion of the beach near the Cherry Grove Pier will also be closed off starting at 7pm.

The city of North Myrtle Beach has released details regarding traffic patterns during its upcoming 4th of July fireworks show.

The event is set to occur on the holiday from 9:30-10pm at the Cherry Grove Pier.

During that time, the 3500 block of N. Ocean Boulevard will be closed.

Ocean Boulevard traffic will move north and southbound only.

Drivers can access Highway 17 N. via 11th Avenue.

All southbound traffic on Nixon and Duffy Street will make a right-hand turn onto Sea Mountain Highway.

Additionally all eastbound traffic on Sea Mountain Highway will turn right at Duffy Street and proceed to Ocean Boulevard via 22nd Avenue North.

A small portion of the beach near the Cherry Grove Pier will also be closed off starting at 7pm, until the show is over.

Attendees are also advised to avoid parking in the median along Ocean Boulevard.
